Chesapeake Isle’s roads, beach, pavilion, piers, boat ramp and harbor are private, kept up by every property owner. A CICA decal or guest pass shows that your vehicle belongs here.
When you need one
Every car and boat trailer parked at the community beach or the harbor must clearly display a CICA decal. Guests’ cars must display a guest pass. Boats in the mooring area also need a CICA decal. Golf carts don’t need one.
Vehicles without a decal or pass get a “Friendly Reminder” on the windshield, and the license plate is logged. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Who can get decals
- Every Chesapeake Isle property owner, whether or not you live here
- Anyone renting or leasing a Chesapeake Isle home
You can get a decal for each of your cars, boats and boat trailers. Decals are not tied to CICA membership.
How to display it
The decal doesn’t have to be stuck on. Any of these is fine, as long as it’s visible from outside every time you park at the beach or harbor:
- Stick it on the rear window or bumper
- Lay it on the dashboard on the driver’s side
- Attach it to a hang tag on your rearview mirror
Guest passes
Guest passes come with the annual invoice packet each fall. The 2026 packet included four. Place one on your guest’s dashboard while they’re parked at the beach or harbor. The pass names you as their host.
You or a family member should be on the Isle when your guests use the beach, harbor or other common areas. Renters with a lease or short-term rental are the exception. You’re responsible for your guests’ conduct and for any damage they cause.
Getting decals or more passes
